Come work somewhere small, serious, and on island.
We're building a clinician-led practice where the work environment matters as much as the work itself.
What we offer
Six commitments.
Let's talk about the culture we're building. Our goal is to create a sense of home away from home.
Two hours of group consultation, every week.
Postgraduates and associates get the full two hours. Licensed clinicians are invited for consultation, so no one is figuring out hard cases alone.
Supervision that meets you where you're at.
Brainspotting and CSAC certification hours available for those who want them. Respect for clients runs through how we talk about cases.
Multitude of Modalities
We want clinicians with curiosity and passion in their chosen modalities and the freedom to keep growing.
Time to be human at work.
We have carved out separate workspaces to connect with your team or decompress, take breaks and complete documentation in peace.
A team that shows up for each other.
When something hard happens in your life, your team notices.
Strengths-based, respectful language.
How we talk about clients in supervision is how we talk about clients in the room. Dignity is the standard, not the upgrade.

Train under Carmen Cook, LMFT.
Carmen has been counseling for over 25 years, with a clinical focus on trauma, anxiety, addiction, and ADHD. She is one of the few Brainspotting Consultants on Maui — meaning she certifies and trains other clinicians in the modality. She is also EMDR-trained, works primarily from IFS and client-centered approaches, and teaches CSAC classes at the local counseling college.
Supervision is provided to meet you where you are at, developing your confidence and your own style. Receive mentorship from a clinician who loves the work.

Open Roles
Currently seeking.
Licensed Clinician
LMFT, LCSW, or fully-licensed equivalent. Trauma-informed practice, modality depth, and an appetite for being part of a team rather than a solo shop. In-person on Maui preferred; limited telehealth-from-Hawai'i possible for the right fit.
Associate Clinician
Pre-licensure MFT, MSW, or counseling associate working toward independent licensure. Weekly direct supervision with Carmen, Brainspotting certification hours available, and structured pathway into licensed work. We want you to grow with us.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Board-certified PMHNP, Hawai'i-licensed or able to obtain licensure. Comfortable with conservative, trauma-informed prescribing and working alongside therapy as part of an integrated plan.
Graduate Student Intern
MFT, MSW, MA Counseling. We offer one to two intern slots per year for students seeking trauma-informed clinical training, weekly group consultation, and direct mentorship from a Brainspotting Consultant.

Honest Answers
Questions worth asking.
What is the pay?
We don't publish a flat number because every role is different. What we can promise: a clear written breakdown at the offer stage, an honest conversation about your experience and licensure, and pay that's competitive for Maui's market.
Do I already need to be in Hawai'i?
No — but you need to be willing to be here. Licensing and reciprocity in Hawai'i depend on your specific license, and the path isn't the same for everyone. Reach out and we'll walk you through what your license would mean here before you make a move.
What modalities do you actually work in?
Brainspotting (Carmen's specialty), EMDR, IFS, somatic-based work, CBT, and play therapy. We want clinicians with depth in a few things — not everything.
Is the work in-person or telehealth?
In-person is our default — for clients, for supervision, and for being part of the team. We use telehealth thoughtfully, mostly for clients on other islands. For most clinical roles, expect to be in our Wailuku office most of the time.
